How mid-call language switching works
A caller dials in and opens in French. The agent replies in French. Halfway through, the caller moves to English, perhaps for a technical term, or because a colleague joins. The agent follows in English without a gap, without an instruction from the caller and without asking them to repeat themselves.
There is no button to press, no menu and no hold music while the system changes over. The agent tracks the language through the call and matches it. If the caller switches again, the agent follows again, within the languages in your plan.
A French-speaking caller from a Belgian business may open in French and finish in English. A Mandarin-speaking investor may mix languages depending on the question. In both cases the caller gets one continuous conversation rather than a restart.
